The new Amarok impresses with its sophisticated comfort, visible premium character and smart assistance systems. Interior features of the New Amarok include a premium sound system by Harman Kardon, colour touchscreen infotainment (10” and 12”), fine leather look on the instrument panel and door trim surfaces, space for 3 adults in the cabin, ambient lighting, electromechanical steering, keyless entry and push start, multifunctional steering wheel as standard, electronic parking brake, rear view camera, Side airbags, curtain airbags and knee airbags and much more.

Smart, sophisticated, sleek. These are just some of the words you could use to describe the all-new Amarok’s modern design, but when the time comes to dig deep, you’ll see the new Amarok has what it takes to power through with new features like its 800mm fording depth, 300mm more than the previous Amarok. The new, charismatic grille and front is the ultimate bold statement with the undeniable Volkswagen DNA woven into it. This distinctive design aesthetic continues into the bars which run horizontally across the radiator grille with the concisely integrated LED headlights which come standard in all Amarok models.
The new Amarok is 5,350 mm long – 96 mm longer than its predecessor. A wheelbase of 3,270 mm corresponds to an increase of 173 mm – which means there is more space in the interior cabin. Since the wheelbase grows more than its overall length, the body overhangs are reduced. This adds to an increased slope angle and a better off-road capability.
Adaptable transmission.
The new Amarok has the right answer for almost every driving situation. It also has the right transmission for almost every drive preference: from rear-wheel drive to selectable and permanent all-wheel drive. Four different diesel engines with four to six cylinders and 2.0 to 3.0 liters of displacement ensure the right strength development.
This is off-road.
What makes the new Amarok a real thoroughbred off-roader? It offers the latest technology and more ride comfort than its predecessor, such as state-of-the-art airbags and assistance systems. Whether body, chassis, engine or transmission variants: From the modified dimensions to the significantly greater fording depth, everything here is designed for off-road capability.
The preconfigured driving modes are new and come in many variations: they support drivers in special off-road situations in several stages. More than 30 assistance systems, over 20 of which are completely new on board the Amarok, provide additional driving comfort on request.
